Project KONTEXT Grundschule
KONTEXT Grundschule – Co-operatively created InfoTEXTE for primary schools
The “KONTEXT Grundschule” project is creating an information website for primary school teachers. Teachers and researchers are working together to produce information texts on current and practically relevant topics related to the promotion of low-achieving pupils.
The “KONTEXT Grundschule” project aims to build a bridge between research and practice by making research findings more accessible to teachers. The focus is on supporting underachieving pupils in primary school. Research in this area provides important information on how to support low-achieving pupils, including through digitalisation. However, researchers and teachers face challenges in transferring research findings to school practice, which is why transfer should be understood as a bidirectional process that crosses disciplinary boundaries. This is where KONTEXT Primary comes in with the development of a web portal for primary school teachers. At its core are so-called transdisciplinary triangles (TT), consisting of teachers, researchers and science communicators who work together in a co-constructive exchange process to select and prepare information. The end product is InfoTEXTE, which summarise the research and practical tips on the topic. The co-constructively produced InfoTEXTE can thus become a bridge between research and practice, combining high academic standards with the practical needs of teachers. A central part of the project is the accompanying research, which analyses the ideas, needs and effects of both teachers and researchers.
