The project BÄRENstark! investigated the cognitive causes of learning difficulties in basic scholastic competencies such as reading, spelling, and calculating.
ReAL
The project ReAL examines the development of children’s reading and calculation skills over the course of elementary school, using a combination of behavioral and neurophysiological (EEG, MRI) measures.
KoKo
Children with ADHD are inattentive, hyperactive, and impulsive. In our Project KoKo we viewed these problems as problems of cognitive self-regulation: We analyzed children’s behavioral inhibition, cognitive flexibility, and working memory.
FLUX
The project FLUX studies daily fluctuations in children’s cognitive performance in the school context.
ANNA
The project ANNA focused on precursor skills that are central to the learning of reading, writing, and arithmetic.
