The research project “Adaptivity and teaching quality in individualized lessons” (Ada*Q) is part of the Robert Bosch Foundation’s “How does a good school work? – Research for practice” programme. The project investigates how individualized teaching in elementary school is implemented and designed at the schools that have won the German School Award.

BiPeer explores ways to support German reading competency of Turkish-German bilingual primary school children using peer-learning methods.

Wie kann es gelingen, dass Beteiligte aus Bildungsforschung, Schulpraxis und Lehrkräfte(aus)bildung aus Frankfurt und Umgebung in einen wechselseitigen Austausch treten und voneinander profitieren? Im Campusschulprogramm bauen wir hierzu eine Kooperation mit Schulen aus Frankfurt und Umgebung auf. Zentrale Schwerpunkte bilden die Schaffung einer geeigneten Infrastruktur, sowie die Umsetzung unterschiedlicher Angebotsformate, sodass Beteiligte der zentralen Bildungseinrichtungen (Bildungsforschung, Schulpraxis, Lehrkräfte(aus)bildung) wechselseitig und auf Augenhöhe miteinander kooperieren können.

An international study of material, social, and cultural conditions of a good life and opportunities of education and participation from children’s and youth’s point of view.

The research project aims at a better understanding of the persisting social inequality in children’s school success. The main focus is on socioeconomic differences in attitudes, beliefs, and practices of children, parents, and educators with regard to education and care in early and middle childhood.

The project FIRST STEPS is an early prevention project for families with an immigrant background aiming to sustainably support social integration of toddlers (0-3) .

The project EVA compares the effects of two established prevention programs – FAUSTLOS (“FISTLESS”) and EARLY STEPS in a sample of high risk children in kindergarten.

The project FILU addressed sensitive interactional behaviour and the arrangement of learning environments for children at home.

The project FLORI focused on promoting reading fluency development in elementary school children.
